During construction of Chemacorp’s basement, unusual hums and bangs were heard nightly by the crew. We were surprised to learn that several of the rusty light fixtures and many of the metal barrels bought from a salvage company actually came from the 100-year old Lemp Brewery in St. Louis that’s reportedly haunted. On several occasions we attempted to remove these items, but the equipment heated to scalding temperatures anytime the team tried to remove even the tiniest screw. It is unknown what spirits traveled with these artifacts or how their presence might impact the cells where the zombies are contained. Guests often say that this area has a certain chill in the air, making the attraction even more spine-tingling and AWESOME!

While playing D&D on the 23rd March 2020 the world ended – More accurately most of it was eaten in a wave of undead sweeping across the country.

After surviving the initial onslaught our 4 Survivors – Chris, Diana, Glen and Rich make their way to familiar ground and get on with the business of surviving.

We are running the Outbreak: Undead gaming system – a simulation RPG where characters play themselves in a post apocalyptic world. We are heavily influenced by D&D mechanics but try and remain true to the spirit of Outbreak Undead as much as we can.

My biggest addition to our game is we play in real time – if the Survivors end a session at their base then the number of days that pass outside the game also pass inside the game – rations and supplies are consumed, wounds heal and longer tasks can be worked on during these times – but your supplies are not infinite and the clock ticks every day you are away.
