The Focusrite Sound: Now On iPad Pro

Sound off in the comments and let me know. Patrick I've been a musician for longer than I care to remember and though I don't make a living in a recording studio, I have spent the last several years getting to know everything worth knowing about Apple's Garageband. Garage Band is the free app you can use to record your voice and any sound on iPad. If you want to record sound on Mac you can use its desktop version for the job as it is bundled with Apple’s OS X as well. You can also find voice recording software in Windows OS, check out this guide to record sound in Windows 10. If you have an iOS device, you can use Apple’s free Logic Remote iOS app to control GarageBand remotely. You can navigate and mix projects, record new tracks and even play software instruments from an iPhone or iPad connected to the same network as your computer.

YouTuber Jason Harrell did a fantastic performance of erasure's Sometimes in GarageBand.

Video Description:

Garageband Harpsichord

This is my iPad GarageBand version of 'Sometimes' by one of my favorite bands, erasure. I don't sing, but I added a melody line this time. I put this video together using iMovie again, which isn't the best, but I wanted to be able to post it. The keyboards in the video are not producing any sounds, I just used the Casio as my midi keyboard and the Roland D-50 and MT-32 were just for visuals.
So GarageBand came included with the iPad, and all of the sounds that are on it are free. But I had to download all of the extra sound packs to get a better collection of sounds. I was trying to get as close as I could to the original but obviously there are limitations and I didn't want to use sampling.
I'm only doing this for fun. if you enjoyed it, thanks for listening, if you didn't like it, that's ok too.
