The radio looks brand new witch has nothing programmed into it, it has never been used. Motorola Radius Gm300 Radio Doctor Software Cant Read. Ive downloaded several GM300 programming files none of them have worked the software cant read the radio. I'm not a huge fan of the Radio Doctor program, I find it far easier to use the actual RSS. Then again, I deal with Maratrac, GM300, Maxtrac, Radius, GP300 and a few other Moto branded radios that have DOS based RSS (including some that have Windows based RSS) on a fairly regular basis. I’ve owned GM300’s for many years now and the required programming gear is as cheap as ever and can be purchased everywhere on the Internet. The GM300 is an excellent radio for amateur purposes IF you can buy on at the right price. They are simple radio’s that do one thing very well. The first two things I ran across was the “Radius GM300 Radio Doctor” over at and the original Motorola Radio Service Software (RSS). The GM300 Radio Doctor piece of software did a good job at being able to program this ancient radio with a “modern” OS like Windows XP. If you see this screen above, congratulate yourself! You have successfully configured DOSBox to run Motorola’s Radio Service Software. Now comes the part that just about everyone has trouble with. Getting your Motorola Radius to communicate with your computer.
